Fee Structure
– My fee is Rs 2,000 per hour (60 Minutes) for Indian Clients, Overseas Clients incurr a charge of Rs 3,000 per hour (60 Minutes), actual Reduction Rate for BPL Population stands at Rs 1,500 per hour if evidence of poverty is furnished. The first session though is of 2 hours at the very least, and incurs a charge towards 2 session hours at the very minimum. Your initial slot timings are decided via 2 modes (Case History & MSE in either Normal Mode or in Accelerate Mode), including that of slot availability. Also, separate charges will be incurred by the client for administration of any Psychological Assessments (Tests), which vary in price from test to test, and are conducted in 5 Phases. The client will get test reports in due course, as I would take some time to score the tests, to give a comprehensive clinical interpretation, and for generation of a report. This time would vary, and is based on the complexity and length of the test, usually taking between 5 to 10 days per test report.
– It would be advisable if clients consent to a detailed evaluation of their personality using standardized personality tests such as the MMPI-II or NEO PI-R before I begin therapy, as this benefits both the client as well as the therapist. But this is not a requirement, and should be only done if the client is comfortable with such a pre-intervention assessment. It does become a requirement hovewer, if the client has multiple co-morbidities (3 and above), be it clinical disorders, or counselling issues.
– Payment for all services are only to be paid cumulatively by the client when the bill totals an amount between Rs 8000 to Rs 10000. Payments can be paid via Cash or Online Bank Transfer. The client should not pay if the bill amount is Rs 2000, as it will be an inconvenience to the client to repeatedly pay again and again for every session. Kindly please note that the clients should make timely payments before the bill exceeds a total of Rs 10000. Rs 10000 equals to 5 hours of Psychotherapy (Rs 2000 * 5 Hours = Rs 10000). Failing to pay by the end of 5th session hour will result in immediate stoppage of any further scheduled sessions, until all dues are paid in full. Keep in mind that the client’s insurance will never cover incurring costs of psychotherapy.
– For cancellation of Session and resultant no bill generation, prior intimation via Telephone of a minimum 24 hours duration will suffice. Non intimation or intimation lesser than 24 hours prior to session will lead to billing towards missed/attempted cancelling. As standard practice Psychologists ask for 1 full day prior intimation for cancellation of sessions.
– Charges incurred towards any Psychological Assessments (Tests) used are separate and vary between Rs 1,000 to Rs 8000 per test, and rates will depend on the type of test administered in due course, which is compulsory for diagnosis. As a preference, evidence-based Western Tests will be preferred over Indian Tests. Testing is in 5 Phases.
– Payments towards Psychological Assessments (Tests) used as a standard practice have to be made in advance, prior to Test Administration, or latest on the day of Test Administration. No relaxation can be given here by the Psychologist due to the heavy costs incurred by the Psychologist for usage of expensive Assessments and / or efforts involved for such undertaking. If applicable, EMI’s can be provided towards Psychological Assessments for students.
– In the event you are highly dissatisfied with the efforts taken by the Psychologist in assisting you to resolve your issues because you feel or allege that the Psychologist was incompetent, has indulged in any form of malpractice, ethical violations, deception, manipulation, coercion, definitely all justifiable serious concerns, despite all that refunds will not be initiated for any and all rendered Counselling/Psychotherapy services. Likewise, no refunds will be given to the client for any administered Psychological Assessments (Tests) due to significant cost, time, and effort involved towards the Psychologist for procuring, administration, scoring, and interpretation of assessments.
– Mode of payment for Counselling/Psychotherapy sessions, including Psychological Assessments (Tests) can be made either via UPI, IMPS, GPay or Online Bank Transfer during In-person Psychotherapy, or during Tele- Psychotherapy. See Attached Banking Details.
